Achieving DAkkS accreditation for flow velocities last year was just the start of our plans to successively expand our calibration facilities with customer interests in mind. At the recent meeting of the expert panel for "Strömungsmessgrößen" (flow measured variables) of the German Calibration Service (DKD), Höntzsch was represented by Dr. Arne Taube. An intercomparison programme for all calibration laboratories in Germany accredited for measuring flow velocities, was initiated. First results are expected in the final quarter of this year.

Höntzsch thermal flow sensors TA10 ... ZG2b and TA Di ... are now available with M-Bus technology.

With the new standardized interface our thermal flow sensors for compressed air and ultra-pure gases can now be easily connected to already available consumption data loggers via M-Bus.

Based on a multilateral agreement between the German accreditation body (DAkkS) and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), Höntzsch has now achieved worldwide recognition for conducting certain testing or test types of calibration. Thanks to this accreditation the laboratory is now authorised to use the combined ILAC-MRA (Mutual Recognition Arrangement) symbol.
